As per highly placed sources based on specific inputs Rajouri police today arrested a militant as soon as he reached his native place Thanamandi through illegal Nepal routei As per sources 26 years old Mohammed Shoket Ali , son of Mohd Sharief resident of village Pangai of Tehsil Thannamandi of district Rajouri has today been arrested by a team led by special police team. The militant has been arrested along with his Pakistani wife Fatima Kosar (22) and two minor children Khalid Walid of three years and Omar Walid of eight months in age.
Sources said his father applied under rehabilitation policy for safe return of his son on 23 august this year However this militant entered India through Nepal border which has been termed as illegal route by police and reached his native area today early morning but police arrested him as soon as he reached there. As per sources during questioning by police the arrested militant told that, he was kidnapped by one Chief Commander and recruite of LeT in 2003, when he was a student of 9th class in Government Higher Secondary School Thanamandi. Later, he was taken to various routes and ways to reach Tallah Bangai near Shadra Sharif and stayed in that area for few days.
Then those militants took him to Doka, Hill Kaka where militants were running their training center for newly recruited youths of the state. After few days of training, he along with two other youth identified as Ans of Anantnag district Srinagar and Akram of Udhampur crossed the fence and moved to other side of border but both died later in various encounters with security personals in 2007, 06 respectively. Sources added that during investigation he said that during basic training of 21 days in Muzaftabad many other youth of both districts of Rajouri-Poonch and other districts of Kashmir were under training of mind washing, including basic training of cooking food, Islamic education and other important trainings were given in camps. He also worked with a private company for over two years in Pakistan and later married to a local girl. A missing FIR was also lodged in local police station in 2003 and his father Mohd Sharif applied under rehabilitation policy of State Government for safer come back to his son on 23 August 2012. However he reached by Nepal route to Delhi, yesterday and reached 9 Am at Thanamandi in Tata Sumo, police arrested him along with family. Police has also registered a case against him for his illegal entry into this side through Nepal border While his investigation is still on as the last reports came in While senior police officials also reached police station Thanamandi where he has been kept.
