Jammu, December 23 : With the 50 runs knock by Adatyia, JU Cricket X1 today beat Gurukul Kangri Hardwar University by 95 runs in the second leauge match of Inter University North Zone Cricket Tournament being played at Bithinda Punjab here today. 32 teams of north zone Universities are participating in the tournament.
For the last ten years it is for the first time that JU Cricket team has won two consective matches in a row. After winning the toss, JU Cricket X1 decided to bat first and in a stipulated 30 overs, team scored 198 for the loss of eight wickets.
Adatya scored 50 runs, Sahil 47 runs, Bandeep 19 rund while as Captian of the team Amit Bloria agian playing Captions knock scored 27 runs. Chasing the target Of 198 runs , Gurukul Kangri Hardwar University were bowled out on a score of 103 runs in just 21 overs.
From JU side Rahil took 3 wickets , Manic and Vimresh took 2 wickets each while as Dilawer and Ashwani bowled out 1 wickets each. JU Cricket X1 will play Pre-Quarterfinal on December 26th. Team is accompnied by Manager Dr Dawood Iqbal Baba and team Coach Raj Kumar.
