Jammu, June 18: Jammu Statistical Students Federation (JSSF) has threatened to campaign against the National Conference in coming assembly election if party failed to clear its stand on the issue raised by its student leader in Jammu University.
In a meeting held in the campus under the chairmanship of JSSF president Ranjeet Singh, all the members expressed their anguish against some pass out students trying to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere of the campus.
Addressing the members, Ranjeet Singh said that National Conference should clear it stand whether they are supporting their students present or not. " For the last one week, some pass out students are hell-bent to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere in the campus. If NC failed to clear its stand in coming days, the JSSF will launch campaign against the National Conference in coming assembly elections," Ranjeet said
"On one hand the Patron of National Conference, Dr Farooq Abdullah is saying that if voted to power he will ask Prof. Amitabh Mattoo to Continue for next six year but on the other hand their student leader is leveling serious allegations against the persons who has given new life to the dying educational system of Jammu and Kashmir state. "Patron of National Conference should clear its parties stand"
Lambasted the persons behind "Sangersh Movement", Ranjeet said that some pass out Students of Jammu University are maligning the Image of the University for their personal benefits. "The sangershies are doing all their on the behest of some vested interest people hell bent to vanish the image of Jammu University" he said adding that the way these pass out students of the Campus under the banner of "Sangersh" are trying to malign the image of the University for their personal benefits will not be tolerated any more.
While congratulating Vice Chancellor Prof. Amitabh Mattoo for being nominated as a member of National Knowledge Commission, Ranjeet said that the University of Jammu in the last five year have achieved new heights under the able leadership of Vice Chancellor, Prof. Amitabh Mattoo
Ranjeet further ask the University authority to initiate action against these self-styled leader. "If university authorities failed to do so, we will launch agitation against these subversive elements and all the students off the campus will throw these elements out of the campus," he said
