MOHD MAJID MALIK ,BHADERWAH,Jan 16– Nidha Mughal d/o Intikhab Mughal r/o Chakka ,Bhaderwah student of Green Model High School , Bhaderwah , who emerged topper in the class 10th examination from Bhaderwah (winter zone) of Jammu division , result of which was declared by Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) yesterday, initially did not believe it was true as she thought her friends had played a prank. “I did not believe that I got the first rank in 10th class examination from Bhaderwah . My friends told me that I am the topper but I refused to believe. They dragged me and showed it to me on Internet that secured 82% marks and then only I believed them,” Nidha Mughal , told this media person when contacted . “I am very happy and you know nobody expects that one will get first rank. I thank God and parents. Special thanks to my teachers and friends,” said Nidha , for whom getting a rank in academics is nothing new as she had earlier ranked top position in class 10th examination of JKBOSE .Her father Intikhab Mughal a contractor by profession , admitted they hadn’t expected Nidha to top the exam. “I didn’t expect that she would do so well. I knew Nidha would do very well in his examinations but to be told that she’s actually topped the entire Bhaderwah is something we did not honestly expect,” Intikhab Mughal alias Zargam , his father, said. Many of the other students who topped the examination from Bhaderwah said they were pleasantly shocked by their better-than-expected performance. Some attributed their success to hours of hardwork while others attributed it to a thorough understanding of concepts.’What can I say? We are delighted and humbled. She was always good at studies but topping such an exam was never expected, said father of another topper student Sheikh Anika Wahi who secured 785 marks namely Wahid Hussain r/o Dhrampura to this media person .’My computer was not working so I couldn’t see the results on the web. It was my sisters who gave us the news. I am glad it came from her because they has played a huge role in my success, along with my parents,’ Anika said. ‘She always dreamt of cracking the 12th class examination . She has done all of us proud,” her father said. Abika Wani academic talent was apparent since her early school days and she needed little prodding to excel in her studies. The family’s neighbour said: ‘We always encouraged our children to seek guidance from Anika Sheikh . She wanted to make it big, so she set her goals and worked to achieve them.”Her hard work and the blessings of god helped her succeed in the exam,’ they further said. When asked why both wanted to join the public services, they said: ‘we always wanted to contribute meaningfully to society.’ Both also credited their parents and god for their recent success, adding that they ‘hopes to be able to contribute to India’s emerging diplomatic profile in the years to come’.’Youngsters in Bhaderwah are talented but lack guidance, awareness and exposure to opportunities,’ both added . One boy namely Ateeb Ajaz s/o Ajaz Sheikh r/o Parnala ,Bhaderwah also outshine girls in class 10th exam’s result and secured 84% marks .“Ideas come alive when you believe in them. Dreams become reality when you work for them.” With this thought in mind, I studied throughout my matriculation year. I think life is like a movie. Parents provide the inspiration, friends add spice to life, and several distractions play the role of a villain. To emerge as a successful hero, one needs to give one’s best, stay focused and work sincerely, said Ateeb Ajaz .
Tera Sach Hai Tere Dard Mein,
Jhoot Likha Hai Sab Kitabon Mein,
Ek Se Mil Ke Sab Se Mil Lijiye,
Aaj Har Sakhs Hai Nakabo Mein,
Tera Milna Tere Nahin Milna,
Ek Raasta Kayi Sarabo Mein,
Unki Nakamiyo Ko Bhi Giniye,
Jinki Sohrat Hai Kamyabo Mein,
Roshni Thi Sawal Ki Had Tak,
Har Najar Kho Gayi Jawabon Mein…
