Jammu, 31 March :BJP State President Ashok Khajuria today lambasted People’s Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti for advocating from the Pakistani soil proposals designed to enable Pakistan to share sovereignty with India over Jammu and Kashmir and securing accommodation of worst form of
communalism being used as a tool to ensure the seggregation of Jammu and Kashmir from India. Ashok Khajuria said that her dual power sharing arrangement and its subsequent combination into the framework of Indian and Pakistan polity formulation is a clear proof that the PDP and similar other Kashmir-based separatist and so-called mainstream formations, including the NC, are out and out anti-India and pro-Pakistan and that the PDP is simply a Pakistani mouth piece in Jammu and Kashmir. The BJP rejects outright all these divisive and communal formulations and demand severe action against the PDP and NC presidents for their anti-India crusade so that a right message goes across the country that there is no space in the country’s polity for those who have contempt for India and are advocating the Pakistani cause in Jammu and Kashmir.
Ashok Khajuria said that whatever views the PDP is preaching in and outside India have the full backing of the Congress-led UPA government at the Centre and the Congress-led ruling coalition in Jammu and Kashmir. He said had the Congress-led UPA government taken cognizance of Mehbooba Mufti’s March 28- Islamabad fair deal for the people of Kashmir and "We should not be treated like another state", it would have by now initiated legal proceedings against the PDP president. The very fact that it has maintained silence over Mehbooba Mufti’s anti-India fulminations is a proof that the Congress and the PDP are working together to unsettle everything in Kashmir and accommodate communalism and those taking recourse to terror tactics inorder to frighten the minorities and dismember India. It is the Congress which is the main culprit; the root cause of the whole problem the nation has been facing not only in Jammu and Kashmir but across India, asserted Ashok Khajuria. At the same time, Ashok Khajuria appealed to the patriotic people of the state, particularly those of Jammu and Ladakh and internally-displaced Kashmiri Hindus to join hands to isolate the pseudo- secular and pseudo-democratic Congress, which has been hobnobbing with PDP and similar other anti-India outfits and harming the country’s national interests.
