Jammu, March 18, BJP State President Ashok Khajuria, accompanied by State Vice-President Chander Prakash Ganga, today chaired a meeting of local leaders
and party activists at Reasi and took stock of the progress made so far in party’s massive campaign of constituting Booth Level Committees. The local unit of the party also briefed Ashok Khajuria of the organizational and political activities being undertaken in different parts of the district during last two months.
Expressing his satisfaction over the constitution of committees, Ashok Khajuria asked the party men to devote more time for the party for the next four to five months. He said BJP is not only a political party but a mission to strengthen the nationalist forces and ensure defeat of all such formulations which pose threat to the unity and integrity of the country. He said the BJP activists have to reach each and every corner of the state with a pious mission of bringing the real faces of the coalition parties before the masses. He said it is the duty of our activists to expose the present Congress-led coalition for its anti-people and pro-militant policies. He criticized the state government for making repeated attempts to suppress the voice of the employees who have been agitating in democratic way in favour of their genuine demands. The government lathi-charges those saying-Bharat Mata ki Jai and extends VVIP treatment and fool-proof security to all those who raise anti-India, Pro-Independence slogans and preach sedition. He declared that the next government in the state will be formed on our dictates and BJP will see to it that the days of miseries for common people are over and all those trying to disintegrate the country are put behind the bars.
BJP senior leader Baldev Sharma, Reasi Municipal Committee Councillors of BJP including Sheel Magotra, Sudesh Pandotra, Shashi Puri, Naresh Kumar, Smt. Kanta Sharma and Kuldeep Mengi, City President Shambu tripathi, Katra Munucipal Committee Councillor Sham Lal Sharma and Jainender Sharma, Bolck Incharge Pouni Jugal Banathia also addressed the meeting.
Earlier in the morning, on reaching Reasi, Ashok Khajuria alongwith former Union MoS Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta visited the residence of Anand Swaroop Pandoh, Distt. Vice-President Reasi BJP, who expired a few days ago in a road accident. The BJP leaders expressed their sorrow and grief with the family members of Anand Swaroop Pandoh and prayed Almighty God to give strength to them to bear the loss caused by the demise.
