Shri Mast Nath Yogi, Acting President of Janta Dal (Secular) J&K State has said in a statement that the erstwhile Doda district in general and Bhadewah Tehsil in Govt. under a well planned conspiracy after the Ex-Chief Minister Sh. Ghulam Nabi Azad ceased to be the Chief Minister of the State. He said that the public of this district has not much been inclined towards the ruling National Conference party. As a result, in order to punish the people of this district and to make them realize this ting, the various developmental works taken up during the Chief Ministerial tenure of Shri Ghulam Nabi Azad are lying in doldrums.
Yogi complained that in the last two years Chief Minister Omar Abdull visited various places in Doda district, but insipte of bringing to his attention, Bhaderwan is often neglected. He said that it was a matter of great regreat that the foundation stone of Bhaderwah-Basohali road was paid by late Mrs. Indira Gandhi about 40 years ago but till date its completion is being deferred time and again. Although, in promotion the tourism and reducing the unemployment to a great extent, but its completion is being deferred on the pretext that to keep this road pliable throughout the year, there is a need to make a tunnel at Chhatragala. The file of this project is licking the dist in Delhi secretariat for the last three years. Yogi raised the question that if Mughal road could be completed and started from Srinagar to Baramulla, then Why this discrimination with Bhaderwah-Basohli road. Yogi also urged upon Dy. CM to resign form the portfolio of Urban Local Bodies Ministry because he failed to full fill all the Vacant posts of Sanitary Inspector at Bhaderwah, Doda, Thatri, Ramban and other Distts due to which hardships of people are increasing.
He further aid that two Mini Hydroelectric projects were sanctioned for Nagar Atalgarh and Bhalla long time ago but nothing has been done towards the commencement of work on these project. He advises the concerned MLA and MLC to raise these vital issues of public importance in the forthcoming Budget session of the State Legislature so that the public can decide over the future course of action in this regard. He also appealed to the general public to rise above the party politics and work together for the resolution of these works.
