MOHD MAJID MALIK DODA, January 11–Renowned Social Worker and Retired Pharmacist Abul Gani Zargar (86) Father of Retired CMO Dr Mohammad Iqbal Zargar and Father in Law of Doda based Social Activist and Ex Councilor Nuzhat Iqbal passed away this morning at his residence Doda after prolonged illness. Later on he was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard where thousands of people participated his Nimaz-e-Jinazah.It is to mention here that Ab Gani Zargar was a retired Pharmacist who served in the health department for more than 35 years and during his service in the health department, he worked with dedication, hardwork and always work for the people belonging to downtrodden section.His death has been widely condoled in Social, Political and Medical Circles of Doda and in District also. The people expressed profound grief over the demise of Abdul Gani Zargar and described his death as a great loss. They said that the void created after his death cannot be filled. Further they added that Zargar’s contribution in the health department and his services to the people was highly commendable which no one forget. They expressed their solidarity with the bereaved family and prayed to Allah to bestow peace to the departed soul and courage to family members to bear this great loss.
