MOHD MAJID MALIK , BHADERWAH,JAN 26– Like other parts of the state 65th Republic Day celebrations progressed smoothly with ceremonial parades and the unfurling of the tricolour at Bhaderwah town in the premises of Govt Hr Sec School boys .SDM Bhaderwah Bhupinder Kumar unfurled the national flag where contingents of different wings of the Jammu and Kashmir Police, NCC cadets , the Home Guards and Civil Defence, besides students drawn from over a dozen of the government and private schools of Bhaderwah , participated in the parade. Cultural programme depicting the traditions and culture of Bhaderwah and whole country were the key features of the celebration. All Officers of the Sub Division Bhaderwah included ASP Roop Raj , SDPO Sajjad Ahmed , BDO Thair Malik , Tehsildar Mushkoor Ahmed , Naib Tehsildar Masood Ahmed , BMO ,AEE PHE / PDD ,DFO Bhaderwah and leaders of various political parties , Army officials, attended the ceremony inspite of chilled weather .Speaking on the occasion SDM Bhaderwah Bhupinder Kumar delivered a speech highlighted the achievements of the importance of the day and government in the last four years. He said that the government was working on a major employment drive with the recruitment of nearly 70,000 unemployed youth in the government services.He said the Bhaderwah like other parts of the state was witnessing an unprecedented road communication revolution with hundreds of projects being under way or in approval.Security forces’ installations, Bhaderwah campus of Jammu University and Central government offices located in Bhaderwah also observed the R-Day with the hoisting of the tricolour and the presentation of cultural programmes at their respective locations
