By Asif Naik,Kishtwar May 21:- Three people received serious burn injuries when a truck bearing registration No: JK02T-0875 after developing a mechanical fault and collided with an electrical transfer. According to the eyewitnesses, which passing through the narrow road near Ziyarat Chowk at old Bus Stand Kishtwar develop puncture in the tyre of the vehicle resulted into the road blockade. The eyewitnesses said that while removing the tyre, the vehicle skid off the road and collided with the electric transformer installed at road side resulted into electric shock to three persons who were involved in repairing the vehicle.
As a result of shock all the three persons fell unconscious and received serious burn injuries. After the incident took place, the local with the help of police shifted all the three injured persons to district hospital Kishtwar where the condition of all three people is said to be stable. The injured persons were identified as Farooq Ahmed son of Ghulam Nabi sheikh resident of Kungwari Palmar, Sajjad Hussain son of Ghulam Rasool resident of Palmar and Raiz Ahmed son of Abdul Karim resident of Hunjala Kishtwar.
When contacted Medical superintendent District Hospital Kishtwar Dr. Ghulam Mohammad Naqeeb said that one among three injured person namely Raiz Ahmed has been shifted to Government Medical College Jammu for advance treatment. He said that the condition of other two person is stable and said both the injured are responding to the treatment. Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Saleem Mohammad Chowdhary also visited the hospital and inquired about the health of the injured persons.
