Shimla : Ahead of the Assembly polls in Himachal Pradesh, the All India Trinamool Congress (AITMC) on Thursday released its election manifesto, promising one lakh jobs annually for the youths of the state and generating adequate resources for the execution of development works.
Releasing the manifesto at a hotel in Shimla, the AITMC northern region In-charge and Rajya Sabha MP KD Singh said that both the BJP and the Congress were the two sides of the same coin.
Both of these parties had brought no development in the state during their regimes but now the TMC had come as an alternate of these parties in Himachal Pradesh, he said.
Stating that the TMC had fielded capable candidates for the Assembly polls, he also said that the mandate of the electorates would be welcomed by the party.
While replying the question of the media persons, Singh said that the possibility of an alliance with any party would only be considered after the polls’ result.
The TMC was the lone party which always fulfilled its promises and the recent decisions taken by the party supremo Mamata Benarjee both at Centre and in West Bengal were the best examples of it, he added.
He also stated that the elected TMC candidates would be fully responsible to the people.Party’s state president and candidate for Theog Assembly constituency, Dr Pramod Sharma, Sandeep Verma and state general secretary Daleep Sharma were also present on the occasion.

Employment: Employment allowances for the unemployed educated youths and formation of a policy providing jobs to these youths in various government, non-government institutions, boards and corporations on the basis of merit.
Policy for training programmes and loan schemes to generate employment.

Education: Laptops for students passing class XII and free education for girls up to graduation level.
Promise to provide better higher, medical, agriculture, management and technical education.

Roads and Transportation: Renovation and improvement of all roads.
Planning for investment for construction of bridges and tunnels.

Healthy environment, proper supply of electricity to investors.
Endeavors to attract domestic capital investment.
Power: Promise to make the Himachal a self dependent state in the field of electricity generating additional five to seven thousands megawatt electricity in next five years.

For Trading community: Arrangement of trade fair in both urban and rural areas of the state.
Easily power connections and cheap electricity for craftsmen.
Less interest rate for small traders.
Social Structure: increment in old age pension from Rs 400 to Rs 750 while Rs 1000 as old age pension per month for the persons over 70 years age.
Disbursement of pension through Bank ATM cards while door to door payment of pension for remote areas.
Free tools and job training programmes for empowerment of women, widows and persons with disability.
Agriculture & Horticulture: development of irrigation resources, construction of fruit & vegetable markets and fertilizer processing units.

Transparent Code of Conduct for peoples representative: There would be a transparent Code of Conduct under which these representatives would be responsible for public, explaining on each and every topic relating to mass, development works and new policies.
