Vijyender Sharma , SHIMLA–The Government of India has released final installment of central assistance of Rs. 41.09 crore for Mandi water supply scheme project. The amount has been released under Urban Infrastructure Development Scheme for Small and Medium Towns (UIDSSMT) of Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM).
Urban Development Minister Shri Sudhir Sharma while disclosing this here today said this was the biggest water supply scheme of the state which would ensure round the clock water supply to the beneficiaries of this scheme.
He said this was one of the ambitious projects of the State and would be completed in a time bound manner.
