Chandigarh , 15 January : Haryana Government would set up a Police college at Matanhale in Jhajjar to train police personnel for their skill development.
This was announced by Chief Minister Mr Bhupinder Singh Hooda at Jhajjar today
Mr. Hooda said that the previous INLD government had duped the people by laying the foundation stone for the military school, where as there was no such real proposal. The state government has decided to open the police college in that place so that the police personnel could be equipped with the evolving time. He also announced to set up a 50 bedded hospital in the tehsil headquarter, Matanhale. Earlier, he inaugurated tehsil complex, ITI building, Rajiv Gandhi Sports Stadium, new grain market platform and cover shed at Matanhale.
Later, Mr. Hooda inaugurated the newly constructed government college building at Birohad.
The Chief Minister received rousing welcome in all the villages of district Jhajjar. He was accompanied by local MP Mr. Deepender Singh Hooda, Education Minister Mrs. Geeta Bhukkal, Cooperation Minister Mr. Satpal Sangwan, Chief Parliamentary Secretary Mrs Anita Yadav, Congress MLA Mr. Raghuvir Singh Kadiyan, Naresh Sharma, Political Advisor to Chief Minister Prof. Virender Singh, District Congress President Mr. Anand Sagar and number of senior Congress leaders.
