Chandigarh,June 17- Union Law Minister, Mr Veerappa Moily has assured Haryana Chief Minister Mr Bhupinder Singh Hooda that his request to expedite the process for setting up Haryana’s separate High Court would be considered favourably and the Union Minister also expressed his keen desire to open a National Law University in Haryana.
Haryana Chief Minister had called on Union Law Minister in New Delhi today to urge him to expedite the process to establish a separate High Court in Haryana.Mr Moily also showed his keeness to open a National Law University in Haryana. Mr Hooda agreed to provide land and other facilities for the same, provided the seats are reserved for state domiciles. Mr Moily agreed with the suggestion of Mr Hooda.
Mr Moily also said that he wanted to start a National Mission for expediting the decisions in various cases pending in the courts. Mr Hooda assured him of Haryana Government’s cooperation in this endeavour.
