Chandigarh, June 20 – Mines and Geology Department, Haryana today auctioned seven minor mineral mines in some villages in district Bhiwani for a period upto March 31, 2013. The Government will get revenue to the tune of Rs.66.06 crore from the auction.
The department has auctioned minor mineral mines of Asavari, Asavari different hillock-II, Kheribatar-Mahda, Ramalwas, Jhojukalan, Maikalan-Maikhurd and Unn. Mine of Asavari has been released for Rs.4.06 crore against reserve price of Rs.45 lakh. Similarly, mines of Asavari different hillock-II and Jhojukalan were auctioned for Rs.5.02 crore and Rs.9.51 crore respectively. The reserve prices of these mines was fixed at Rs.45 lakh each.Mine of Kheribatar was auctioned for Rs.23.41 crore while that of Ramalwas was auctioned for Rs.6.06 crore and of Unn for Rs.12 crore and Maikalan-Maikhurd for Rs. six crore. Reserve prices fixed for Kheribatar mine was Rs 10 crore and reserve prices for mines of Ramalwas, Maikalan-Maikhurd and Unn was fixed at Rs.2.25 crore each. Mines of Kalali and Tiwala were not auctioned due to low bidding and bidding of Mankawas mine was canceled due to non receipt of panchayat proposal.
