Hissar, April 28: "The government, which fail to provide electricity, water and proper law & order has no moral right to continue", said Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) Secretary General, Mr Ajay Singh Chautala, while addressing election meeting at village Mangali in favour of INLD candidate from Adampur, Prof Sampat Singh.INLD MP, Mr Chautala and INLD candidate Prof Sampat Singh also addressed the election meetings at Harikot, Gandhi Nagar, Singhran, Kaalwas, Muklaan, Deva and other villages of Adampur Constituency.
Mr Chautala said that the people of the state are suffering due to the insufficiency and scarcity of electricity & water. He said that the people are terrified due to deteriorating law & order situation in the state. "No body is feeling safe as right from the Chief Minister all the ministers, MLAs, MPs and Congress leaders were looting the state to fill up their coffers", he added.
Mr Chautala asked the people where all the electricity and water has gone which was abundantly available in the than INLD government as the present situation appear to be worse than the drought.
Rajya Sabha MP appealed the villagers to reach Hisar in large numbers on 1 May, when INLD candidate Prof Sampat Singh would file nomination papers. He said that the byelections are opportunity to teach a lesson to the Hooda government for its dismal performance and total failure to control law & order.
Addressing the election meetings, INLD candidate from Adampur, Prof Sampat Singh asked the people to support him as this win would start a new chapter in the political history of the state and open new vistas of progress and development.
Mr Chautala and INLD candidate Prof Sampat Singh were given rousing welcome in all the villages of Adampur constituency. Villagers promised to provide full support to the INLD. Many Congress and HJC workers also announced to join INLD during the meetings.
Gohana INLD candidate Dr K.C. Bangar has threatened to ‘sit in’ in protest of non-lifting of wheat produce from the Gohana grain market. He asked the concerned authorities to lift the grain with in next 48 hours. While interacting with the farmers and commission agents in Gohana today, Dr Bangar accused the government agencies of adopting lax attitude.
Dr Bangar said that due to the careless approach of the agencies, commission agents and farmers are suffering. Later he campaigned door to door in village Bhainswaal, where he was garlanded by the villagers. He sought public support and blessing to serve the people of Gohana constituency.
Addressing the election meetings in different villages of Indri, INLD candidate Dr Ashok Kashyap said that the Hooda government has crossed all limits and there is rampant corruption in all sectors. The government has stopped all developmental works and thousands of people have been shunted out of the government jobs and the byelection is the best chance to teach a lesson to the Congress party, he further added.
