Chandigarh, July 24: The Indian National Lok Dal has decided to corner the ruling congress party over the issues being faced by common man during the upcoming monsoon session of the Haryana Assembly. The party has also decided to appoint INLD Vidhansabha constituency Incharge in all 90 assembly constituencies of the state and party will also form booth level committees in all booths upto August 20. This decision has been taken in the joint meeting of party’s MLAs and Political Affairs Committee ( PAC ) held last night in Chandigarh.
During the meeting senior party leader and Ellanabad MLA ChaudharyAbhay Singh Chautala has also asked party leaders to be prepared for the coming Lok Sabha elections. The party leadership has decided to raise the burning issues of deteriorating law and order, scarcity of electricity and water, land scams of Hooda government, increasing rates of electricity, crime against women and atrocities on farmers. The INLD leader said that ruling Congress has played a cruel joke with the farmers by giving them cheques of Rs 2, 3 to 6 and 12 to them in the name of compensation.
Besides Chaudhary Abhay Singh Chautala and state president Shri Ashok Arora senior party leaders like MLA Shri Rampal Majra, former Agriculture minister Sardar Jasvinder Singh Sandhu, Rajya Sabha MP Shri Ranbir Singh Prajapati, Former Deputy speaker Gopi Chand Gehlot, former minister Shri Subhash Goel, MLAs Shri Krishan Panwar, former minister Mohd. Ilyas, MLA Shri Parminder Singh Dhull, MLA Shri Krishan Kamboj, Shri Dharampal Obra, MLA Shri Kali Ram, Dr Hari Chand Dr BL Saini, Shri Narender Sangwan, Rao Bahadur singh, Shri Rajbir Brara, Col. Ragubir Singh, Pradeep Chaudhary, Shri Dilbag singh, RS Chaudhary, BD Dhalia, Nafe Singh Rathee, MS Malik, Charanjit Singh Kalanwali, Ramchandra Jangra, Banarasi Das, Ram Singh Brar, NS Malhan and Randhir Singh also participated in the meeting.
Chaudhary Abhay Singh Chautala has asked party leaders that due to declining popularity of ruling Congress Lok Sabha elections may take place anytime and they should get ready for the elections. The INLD leader also appealed party workers to induct women, youth and representatives from all communities into the booth level committees of the party and asked them to complete the forming of committees by August 20. He said that during the ongoing Jan Jagran Abhiyan party has conducted meetings in 55 assembly constituencies and rest of the meeting will be completed by August 25. MLA Shri Chautala said that party will also appoint Incharge in all 90 assembly constituencies so that the formation of booth level committees could be concluded smoothly and within time. He reiterated, “Worried over the declining popularity the Hooda government in Haryana making false and misleading announcements to misguide the people”. But the INLD is ready to raise all the issues related to the common man in the next assembly session. He also thanked party workers for success of Workers Meetings being organised in the state and appealed them to work hard to strengthen the party cadre.
