Indian Bahujan Sandesh Party (Kanshiram) got a setback today, when its Haryana Pradesh President, Mr Karnail Singh Odhan and a number of officer bearers of the party joined the Congress.
Under the leadership of Mr Karnail Singh Odhan, the office bearers of the party today met Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Bhupinder Singh Hooda at his New Delhi residence and announced about joining the Congress party. The office bearers included Mr Nazar Singh Nambardar and Mr Boga Singh Pradhan of village Pilachhiyan, Ratia Constituency and Mr Daya Singh Sardarewala, incharge Baba Jeevan Trust, Fatehabad.
Mr Karnail Singh Odhan expressed full faith in the policies of the Congress and said that the party looks after the interests of all the sections of the society. He said that under the leadership of Mr Hooda, Haryana government is bringing development in all the areas of the State.
Welcoming Mr Odhan and his colleagues, Mr Hooda said that their joining the Congress party, will further strengthen the party. Congress party is the party of 36 biradari, he said. Party has already working for the upliftment of the poor and the backward classes.
Mr Odhan said that in view of the welfare policies of the Congress party, they have decided to join the Congress party. we will propagate the policies of the Congress during coming Ratia bye-election and try our best to see that the Congress candidate wins.
Political Advisor to Haryana Chief Minister, Prof. Virender Singh was also present on the occasion.
