Chandigarh, December 1- Haryana Social Justice and Empowerment Department has decided to confer State Awards to eight persons and one institute for their outstanding work in the field of Welfare of Disabled. The awards will be given in a state level function to be organised on the occasion of International Day for Disabled on December 3, 2015 at Rohtak.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of the department said that the awards would be given under the categories, Best Person, Best Employee and Best Institution.
He said that the award ceremony would take place at Radha Krishan Auditorium, Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak on December 3, 2015. The name of persons to be awarded are Mr Dalbir Singh Saini, District Social Welfare Officer, Hisar, Dr Markanday Ahuja of Baba Mast Nath Eye Hospital, Asthal Bohar, Rohtak, Mr Jage Ram, Lecturer, Government College, Ambala Cantt., Mr Satish Punia, JBT Teacher, Government Primary School, Surya Nagar, Hisar, Mr Pyare Lal, Lecturer, Government Senior Secondary School, Kirtan, Hisar, Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO), Kanpur, Principal, Asha School, Panchkula, Mr Shyam Sunder, Secretary, Red Cross Society, Gurgaon and Mr Naveen Gulia of Gurgaon.
