November 26 – Haryana police has nabbed a bus conductor for selling fake tickets in Haryana Roadways buses at village Ravladhi near Dadri.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Police Department said that the accused was being interrogated and the involvement of other persons in this case could not be ruled out. He said that General Manager, Charkhi Dadri, Mr Dhanraj Kundu had filed a complaint at Police Station Dadri City against the conductor Jaibhagwan for selling fake tickets and deceiving the government. The police started its investigation soon after the filing of the complaint and made efforts to nab the culprit.
He said that in another case police recovered 900 gms of Charas from a driver of a vehicle at Siwani today during a routine checkup of the vehicles. He had been identified as Paramjeet, a resident of Hoshiarpur, Punjab. The accused has been arrested.
He said that the police had also succeeded in arresting a fraudulent person namely Surinder against whom 15 cases are registered in various police stations of Hisar and has recovered three country made pistols and 14 live cartridges. He was presented in the Hansi court and was sent for police remand for two days. Police would recover illegal arms from him after interrogation.
