Without amending the Constitution of India and in disregard of a Supreme Court Ruling that delay beyond 6 months after dissolution of Municipal Council/ Corporation permissible ONLY IF Act of God intervenes, the Haryana Govt has extended time by 6 months beyond 2 Dec 2008.
An email (mentioning Article 51A duty of every Indian) to State Election Commissioner Haryana (an Indian citizen) that Supreme Court Ruling is that if such delay occurs State Election Commissioner concerned may approach High Court initially and thereafter Supreme Court if need be has also gone unheeded.
Leaders of each and every Association of Gurgaon are requested to keep 23 Nov 08 forenoon free so as to be available for an ALL GURGAON CONCLAVE, being organised by concerned citizens of Gurgaon.
