Chandigarh, June 4- The MP from Rohtak, Mr. Deepender Singh Hooda said that great persons and saints should not be associated with any caste. Equality would prevail in the society only by following the path shown by such noble persons. celebrated
He said this while addressing a huge public gathering at Sant Kabir Ashram and Chatravas at Gohana on the occasion of Kabir Jayanti today.He said that Sant Kabir was a great saint who launched a crusade against superstitions and social evils prevailing in the society. A good society is possible only by following the path of oneness, love, peace and universal brotherhood as propagated by Sant Kabir.
The Ashram Committee put forth its demands of setting up of a new hostel, drinking water facility in Ashram, to connect the power supply line of hostel and ashram with that of the city, construction of a meeting hall in ashram, to provide loan to the poor amounting to Rs five lakh without any security and a 500 square yard plot for Kabir Samaj in Panchkula. He assured the gathering that he would try his level best that these demands are met with by the State Government.
