Chandigarh, May 28 – In view of ‘bandh call’ on May 29 by Gurjar community in NCR area, the Gurgaon district administration has made elaborate arrangements to maintain law and order in the district.
The District Magistrate Gurgaon, Mr. Rakesh Gupta today appointed six duty magistrates to be deployed for maintaining law and order on various roads passing through the district. The SDM Gurgaon (I) Mr. J.S. Sangwan and SDM Gurgaon (II) Mr. K.K. Gupta have been appointed overall incharges for their respective sub-divisions.
According to the order of District Magistrate, Tehsildar Gurgaon Mr. Narinder Kadiyan will be duty magistrate for Faridabad-Gurgaon road except the part of road falling in Sohna tehsil area. Naib Tehsildar Sohna Mr. Vijay Yadav would look after the law and order situation on Faridabad-Gurgaon in Sohna tehsil area.
Similarly, Naib Tehsildar Gurgaon Mr. Balraj Singh would be duty magistrate for National Highway No.8 that is Delhi-Jaipur road whereas Tehsildar Sohna Mr. Rakesh Sharma would be duty magistrate for Sohna-Gurgaon road. Tehsildar Pataudi Mr. Manvir Singh and Tehsildar Farrukhnagar Mr. Rajender Garg would be duty magistrates in Pataudi and Farukhnagar areas respectively. Mohammad Isak Naib Tehsildar Faruknagar, Mr. Lalit Kumar Naib Tehsildar Audit and Mr. Gyaniram Naib Tehsildar Pataudi have been kept as reserve duty magistrates.
The Deputy Commissioner Police (HQ) Mr. Anil Dhawan said that police have also made arrangements for maintaining peace on Thursday in the district. All the ACPs and SHOs have been sounded to remain alert for handling any untoward situation promptly.
