Hissar, April 27: Launching a severe attack on Congress party for the rising prices, Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) has called upon the electorate to teach appropriate lesson in all the three assembly by-elections.INLD today formally launched its election campaign by organizing impressive worker meetings & inauguration of election offices in all the three assembly segments. Hundreds of activists from Congress, HJC and other political parties also joined INLD in the meetings.
While inaugurating the election office of Prof Sampat Singh, INLD candidate from Adampur, INLD secretary general, Mr Ajay Singh Chautala said that the three by-elections were crucial for the political future of the state. He asked the INLD workers to put all the force & efforts. He said that this by-election is being fought with the ‘Do or Die’ endeavor. He said that the party workers and leaders have a moral duty to ensure bigger victory margin than Indri and Gohana.
While referring to Mr Bhajan Lal, Mr Chautala said that till now he do not know from which party and which symbol, he would contest election as the Election Commission has rejected his election symbol. He said that Mr Bhajan Lal has become politically so weak that he now he has to beg with his younger son to contest election. "Mr Bhajan Lal has no policy or programme, nor he have any organization or leadership, where as INLD has the strongest part organization & cadre in the country", he added. He said that INLD would secure easy victory in view of best candidate, polices and programme.
INLD leader said that Congress party has ruined the state where as no development work was going on. The people of the state were cursing the government for its all round failure to provide electricity and water. He also referred to the bickering and dissidence in the Congress party over the party tickets and said that the INLD will take a decisive lead till it control its dissidence.
INLD candidate from Adampur, Prof Sampat Singh said that the slogans written by Mr Bhajan Lal’s party activists indicate that even his own son do not consider him as the undisputed leader. Taking a dig at Mr Bhajan Lal, he said that his one son is Deputy Chief Minister, while the other son got him to resign his assembly seat and did not resigned his Parliamentary membership.
Addressing the party workers at Gohana in support of INLD candidate Dr K. C. Bangar, INLD state president, Mr Ashok Arora said that INLD would win all the three assembly by-elections as the government has failed to curb the rising prices and inflation. The people of the state are annoyed with the government for the lack of electricity & water, deteriorating law & order situation, SEZ scam, Power Purchase scam, Manesar Land scam, non-completion of SYL canal, the selling of government jobs, unemployment, black marketing of essential commodities like gas cylinders, he added.
Addressing the party workers at Indri in favour of INLD candidate Dr Ashok Kashyap, INLD Disciplinary Committee president, Mr Sher Singh Barshami said that the people of the state want elections but the people of Indri were fortunate as they have got a chance to settle score with the Congress party for its anti people policies and inflation.
