New Delhi : Welcoming the Central Budget presented by the Union Finance Minister Shri Arun Jaitley in Parliament today, BJP Delhi Pradesh President Shri Satish Upadhyay said that this Budget is indicative of the National development vision of Shri Narendra Modi Government. Shri Upadhyay said that the rebates announced on the savings and medical expenses will benefit the middle class and now the people earning about Rs. 4 lakh per year may not be liable to pay income tax. Delhi is also a city of Central Government employees and the announcement that the seventh pay commission will submit its recommendation next year is also a ray of hope for them.
Shri Upadhyay also said that that on the one hand this Budget provides new opportunities for skill development and education for the youth and on the other hand it will help the backward states in improving their health services. Big provision has been made for National Skill Development and provision of 8.5 lakh crore rupees for providing loan to the farmers to save them from the clutches of the private money lenders and saving them from committing suicides.
After many years a budget presented by majority party government is not for political objective but for bringing the Indian economy back on its track.
