Raipur, 21 August 2015 : The Chhattisgarh State Government has cautioned and appealed to the general public not to be misled and cheated by the foreign -based companies and organizations who are swindling the innocent public of huge amounts of money. The concerned officials said that if any individual has received such offers from cheaters on foreign shores or was swindled of hard-earned money he should lodge a complaint with the police or Cyber Crimes Bureau. Nodal agencies are mentioned on the Reserve Bank of India website also. The victims can also lodge their complaints with the website.
Directorate of Institutional Finance officers based at Naya Raipur said that Reserve Bank of India had already cautioned the aam aadmi to be cautious while investing their money in foreign companies which is illegal and banned by law. The Union Government has also advised the people to be on guard against bogus Indians based on foreign shores, foreign companies and lotteries offered by bogus companies. The Reserve Bank said that most of the companies are bogus. No individual is allowed to remit money violating the Reserve Bank guidelines and action can be taken against such individual as per the law.
