Manoj Godara, Chandigarh, October 15: The next UGC-NET for Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for lecturership will be held on December 26. The candidates will have to first register online at www.ugc.ac.in before October 25 and the last date for the submission of printout of the online application form (2 copies), attendance slip and admission card is November 1. Before applying online, the candidates must possess the scanned passport size photograph in JPEG format and a copy of the bank challan (fee receipt).
Candidate after filling the online application is required to take printout of the online application form (2 copies), attendance slip and admission card on separate A-4 size papers and paste his/her recent passport sized photograph, put his/her signature at the required space, attach attested copy of SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer)/Ph/VH certificate and send the same with UGC marked copy of bank challan to the coordinator of the UGC test centre from where the candidate has opted to appear for the test. In case the printout of online application form (2 copies) along with the required documents does not reach the test centre on or before November 1, 2010, the candidature of the applicant shall be rejected even if he/she has submitted to UGC.
The printout of the online application form (2 copies), attendance slip and admission card should be submitted to Prof. V.K. Walia, coordinator, UGC-NET, department of zoology, Panjab University. The office will remain open from 9.00 am to 5 pm on all working days. The candidates must go through the guidelines as laid down by UGC for eligibility and filling the application forms.
