A musical extravaganza the narration of the play was enlivened by melodious songs and well choreographed dances. A large cast of 350 young performers in the age group of 6 to 9 years acted, narrated, sang & danced in the play.
The play had an underlying message of compassion for all living beings, aspiring for a better tomorrow and team work.
An adaptation of the original ‘The Musicians of Bremen’ by the Brothers Grimm, the play was about various animals tossed out by their fickle owners after a life time of service. The animals decide to band together to seek their fortune as musicians in the town of Bremen. Though they never reach Bremen Town they manage to scare away a gang of robbers with their cacophony and find a place to living for the rest of their lives.
An in-house production, the play was directed by Ms. Mini Gandhok and Ms. Rouble Singh. The music was by Mr. Rajinder Singh and Mr. Harvinder Singh, choreography by Ms. Ragini and Ms. Puneet. The backdrop and properties were by Ms. Ruma Rajkumar, Harmala Phoolka, Ms. Ruby Walia and Ms. Lakhbir.
