4 Sep :The talent split open and spilled out as the teachers joyously let vent to their theatrical musical and various artistic skills on and off stage on the occasion of Teachers’ Day celebration. Teachers from all the branches of AKSIPS got together at AKSIPS 45 where they were welcomed in a traditional manner with the soft music from Shehnai audible in the background.
A magnificent celebration took place and there was a reason to have one like that. The year marks the Silver Jubilee of AKSIPS group of schools.
The programme commenced with a tribute to Miss. Ajit Karam Singh, an eminent teacher and administrator par excellence who was a recipient of the Coveted National Teachers Award.
The Executive Director Mr. Jasdeep Kalra handed over the torch that was lit by Miss Ajit Karam Singh to the staff members which was physically carried forward by the 200 teachers from all the three branches. The ucharan of Om and ‘Deh Shiva Var Mohe Ahe, Shubh Karman Te Kabh Hun Na Darun’ were sung at this occasion that created an emotional environment. The beats of dhol resounded the school premises and set the ambience just right for kicking off the celebration. Teachers had a great time participating in various interesting games and winning exciting prizes.
Mr. Jasdeep Kalra Executive Director of AKSIPS group of schools highlighted the achievements of the three branches and congratulated the teachers for working whole heartedly to strive for best education.He reminded them once again of the important role they play in moulding the child’s future. Sumptuous lunch was served later.
