Chandigarh, 6 July: The animal kingdom descended on the premises of St. Paul’s International School, Mohali to welcome the tiny tots after the long summer break. The children were more than excited to see the swinging elephant, chirping sparrows, jumping rabbit and kangaroos to welcome them and offering them sweets. The members from flora region joined the kidoos in their rhyme reciting session too and the teachers apprised the students about the habitats of the different animals and birds present at the premises. The motive behind this endeavor was to encourage the tiny tots to come to school cheerfully and on the same time to learn things playfully.” My child did not want to come to school and was crying till we entered the premises but the moment he saw the animal cartoons dancing to welcome him he ran straight to them and shook hand with them” said mr. sharma parent of class I.
Its a good initiative from the school management to make the students comfortable after such a long gap ,said mr. Rajiv parent of another student.
