Chandigarh, April 21:Six students from Chandigarh Centre of the Frameboxx Animation and Visual Effects institute have been picked up by world’s leading animation studio Dreamworks Paprikaas Interactive for their Bangalore office, informed founder and Executive Director Mr Naveen Gupta here today.This is the testimony to the quality of education being imparted at Frameboxx, which has become the fastest growing animation training brand in the country today, informed Mr Gupta.
Paprikaas Dreamworks are one of the leading animation studios who have selected 30 students from various Centres of Frameboxx in the country, which includes six from Chandigarh alone.The selected students from Chandigarh include Neha Maini, Sukhjinder Singh Bal, Varinder Kashyap, Mohammad Asheem Khan, Harish Kumar, and Manmeet Singh.
While Neha and Sukhjinder have been selected for modeling, Mohammad Asheem and Harish would be handling rotoscopy while Varinder and Manmeet would be the compositing artists.Four students have also been selected for the Footprints Infotech Studios, Chandigarh. These are Gurpreet Singh as Modeller, Devinder Singh Sethi as animator and rigger, Isha Walia as texturing artist and Navtejpal Singh as animator.
In the recent past many animation studios in the country have placed Frameboxx students including Pixion, DQ and the incubation centre of Frameboxx at Mumbai, while Sharukh Khan’s Red Chillies, and Crest Communication are conducting the campus interviews next month.Frameboxx was established in December 2007 and since then has established 23 centres across the country with 10 more centres in the offing, informed Mr. Gupta.
