Chandigarh-Mohali, February 9; Universally people know Mahatma Gandhi as the greatest leader, who uprooted the strongest regime in the world not by using weapons but through his power of non-violence, wisdom and power of tolerance.
And this week Yuvsatta an NGO supported by Gandhi Smriti & Darshan Samiti, New Delhi is taking the message of Gandhi through a ‘Gandhi Yatra’ comprising of a Puppet show, exhibition and sale of books written by Gandhiji for young students in different Schools of the city.
Prepared by puppeteers from Rajasthan Samagr Sewa Sangh, Jaipur, this show christened as “MOHAN SE MAHATMA” powerfully shows the life journey of father of nations by using his original voice, patriotic numbers and captivating music besides the puppets –which are children’s favourite.
Today two shows were performed for students of St. John High School, Sector 26 and at Paragon Sr. Sec. School, Sector 71, Mohali. Tomorrow the Yuvsatta will be taking ‘Gandhi Yatra’ to Panchkula first between 8.30 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. at Hansraj Public School and later between 11 a.m. to 12 noon, at The Gurukul, Sector 20, Panchkula.
