When the maestro told the children to ask questions , there was a never ending flow of meaningful questions .Who says that younger generation is not interested in classical music? The responsibility lies with us adults to expose them to rich composite cultural heritage of the world , which is the birth right of everyone. SPIC MACAY is doing this responsible task for past 30years exclusively thru volunteers.
SOCIETY FOR PROMOTION OF INDIAN C LASSICAL MUSIC AND CULTURE AMONGST YOUTH (a voluntary body that promotes Indian classical music, dance, folk arts, yoga etc.) is bringing Shri Biswajit Roy Choudhury as part of its annual FEST2008. now he will also be performing at the Navodaya Vidyalaya, Patiala on 28th March at 10am. SPICMACAY has tied up with the Navodaya Vidyala establishment for concerts to be organised all over the country so that underprivileged children also experience ‘ the beautiful" of this world ie the classical music..
