Barinder Saluja, Chandigarh,May 26 : It was due to the “Mutton Factories” i.e. the Bouncers, who surrounded Salu & the as usual habit of Salmaan Khan, our very own “Chulbul Pandey”, to come late on the sets, bugged up the electronic media who collectively boycotted the press meet of the macho man of bollywood, today, here at Hotel Taj Palace, Chandigarh. Very heavily guarded by the bouncers who hampered the coverage of the promotion of his forthcoming release “Ready” which is due to be released on June 3rd. Though Salmaan Khan was almost 2 hours late to be Ready even after checking in at the hotel which was taken very seriously by the TV media and they decided to walkout of the venue and boycotted the coverage of Salmaan Khan as all the media & guests were tired of asking that is he ready or not ready, as yet. Very casually dressed up in Blue denims, Blue T-shirt boasting of “Being Human” with a Blue Sapphire studded bracelet in his right wrist, Salmaan stuck to his royal chair for not more than 15 minutes answering the questions of the media through the un-audible PA system. When asked that why he had chosen to make a film which has already been made in Telugu in 2008, Salmaan coolly replied that “Ready” is al-Ready a Hit. So, hit will hit the top charts. He also very smartly brushed a side the fact, that his films always have a strong character role for himself than the lady in the film, by saying that he gives an equal weightage to the female co actor in his films, whether it was Wanted or Dabangg or Ready.
Pooja, a die hard fan of Salmaan Khan present their to have the glimpse of her all time heart throb, Salu, which she addressed Salmaan as, said, ” Wow..!! I cant believe that I am actually in front of Him & watching him in flesh & blood. My heart is beating very fast. this is the best moment of my life.”
Mr. & Mrs. Gupta along with their four year old daughter fought past the pushes & pullings of the crowed to have the glimpse of their favorite cine star unaware of the fact that their small child would suffer & to every ones surprise that little girl recognized & yelled, “Papa ye to Dabangg wale uncle hai”.
But, Salman Khan starer ‘Ready’ will be world premiered in Dubai before it hits the screen all over the world on June 3rd. Salman along with his leading lady from the film, Asin, will walk the red carpet of the Grand Cineplex in Dubai on June 1st. Incidentally, this would be Salman and Asin’s second world premier to be held in Dubai. Earlier their film, ‘London Dreams’ [2009] world premier was also held in Dubai. After Ready’s premier gets over an exclusive after-party at a local nightclub is organized by the presenters. Ready, a remake of the Telugu super hit of the same name is the first film of Salman after his phenomenal success ‘Dabangg’ last year. Ready’s music is already a chart buster and expectations are mounting on the film as it is already a proven hit in Telugu. Directed by Anees Bazmee, Ready has music composed by Pritam Chakraborthy and Devi Sri Prasad [Dhinka Chika].
Salmaan Khan was escorted by Chandigarh police personnel’s when he entered the press meet area and on seeing a handsome Sub Inspector of Chandigarh police next to him, someone in the crowd described that view as “hamara police wala zayada dashing lag raha hai”, which spread a laughter on the faces of tired & exhausted onlookers.
Wow Sekhon Paji you beat the Salman .
Proud to be Chandigarhian.
