Chandigarh, October 24:Professionals between the age of 25 and 40 years are invited to be a part of the Rotary’s Group Study Exchange programme to USA.
According to District Governor Chetan Aggarwal of Rotary District 3080, applications are now invited from outstanding working professionals to be a part of the four member Group Study Exchange tour to USA.
He informed that the four member team shall visit USA for a four weeks programme to experience the culture, life, customs and vocational practices in another country.
The purpose of the Group Study Exchange program is to promote international understanding and goodwill through personal connection. While abroad, team members stay in Rotarians’ homes and have the opportunity to meet their professional counterparts. They also give presentations to Rotary clubs and other groups about their home country.
The Rotary Foundation pays for round-trip airfare, and Rotary club members in the host country provide meals, lodging, and group travel in their district. Team members pay for personal and incidental expenses.
Young adults, between the ages of 25 and 40, who are interested in applying should be employed full-time in a business or profession. Applicants must live or be employed in the city from where they apply to the local Rotary club.
The application forms can be downloaded from the Rotary website www.rotary.org/gse (?) and can also be requested on email from info@corepr.com
The applications would be invited by the local Rotary clubs in each city of the District 3080, who will shortlist suitable candidates after a written test/interview and thereafter, would have to appear for final selection at the Rotary District level.
