Dr. Avnish Jolly, Chandigarh, 23rd October 2008 :Expressing their role of Public Private Partnership participation for the flood affected people of Bihar, the Residents Welfare Organisation of Sector 38-A & B, Chandigarh presented a draft of Rs. 1,03,040/- (Rupees one lakh three thousand forty only) to the Punjab Governor and Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh, Gen. (Retd.) S.F. Rodrigues, PVSM VSM at Punjab Raj Bhavan, here today.
General Rodrigues congratulated the Association on its concern and compassion for our fellow countrymen in distress. He appealed to other NGOs and individuals to extend their help and support to the flood affected victims in different parts of the Country.
Mr. K.C. Sethi, President of the organization said that their association is engaged in various social activities such as organizing free health checkup camps, and other societal endeavours.
