By Vivek, Chandigarh, July 2: The Civil Society members of “AAWAAZ” on Saturday organised a protest march at sec-17, plaza, Chandigarh demanding the implementation of Jan Lokpal Bill and recovery of black money which is lying outside India. Scores of people joined them in the peace protest. The members also supported the Annaji’s protest with full potency and succeeded in bringing residents on one platform. The Civil Society members said they all are working together in support of Baba Ramdev and would not quit till the demands are addressed by the government.
THIS MUCH HYPED DEMAND OF APPOINTMENT OF LOKPAL/S SEEMS AN OTHER CONSPIRACY OF THE POLITICAL PARTIES, TO GET ADJUSTED THEIR FAVORITES ON THIS COVETED POST/S AND NOTE IT IN YOUR HEAD & HEART THAT THE LOKPAL/S WILL BE AN UTTER FAILURE TO CHECK THIS CANCEROUS CORRUPTION OF THE NATION, COMPRISED MOSTLY OF BPLs- BELOW POVERTY LINE & POORS, A TAG / LABEL OF DISGRACE AFFIXED ON THEM BY THE GOVERNMENT/S OF THIS COUNTRY ITSELF, WHICH IS A GREATEST SHAME FOR THIS NATION, BOASTING TO BE A SUPER POWER IN THE COMING DAYS.
JUST SEE THE FATE OF *RTI ACT*, THERE IS NO SUBSTANTIAL RESULTS BUT ON THE OTHER-HAND, THE RTI ACTIVISTS ARE BEING BUTCHERED UNDER THE VERY NOSE OF THE LAW MAINTAINING AGENCIES & THE COMMONERS ARE NOT EVEN HEARD & SATISFIED WITH RIGHT INFORMATION IN THE RIGHT PERSPECTIVE, AS HAS BEEN PROMISED IN THIS LAW VIZ. RIGHT TO INFORMATION, THUS THE SAME SHALL BE THE FATE OF THE INSTITUTION OF LOKPAL/S, IS AS CERTAIN AS DEATH–dr.amritgaur
Innovative Bangladesh
As per finance ministry of Bangladesh, its citizens have hidden / stashed away, some $ 110 billion worth of black money.
That nearly equals 80 % of country’s GDP.
How to bring this black money into the mainstream economy and put it to productive use ?
With that objective in mind, Bangladesh parliament just passed a new law that would enable tax-evaders to invest such monies into local stocks / shares officially.
All they need to do is to pay 10 % of invested monies as tax.
And no questions asked as to the source of their funds !
While grappling with the monster of black money, it is a “ no holds barred “, as far as Bangladesh is concerned.
May be Indian parliamentarians can learn a lesson from its innovative neighbor !
