After Anna’s arrest and entire mayhem, Chandigarh has gathered together to show its support in war against corruption. Various activities are organised by different unions and organisations. A human chain was created which started from Sec.32 towards sec-32/20 gurdwara which was participated by over 500 students from different school and colleges. In another activity, Auto Union, Chandigarh held a rally starting from Sec-43 towards sec 18/7 chowk which was lead by Ramesh Gautam. Another protest was shown by AAWAAZ volunteers by holding a Mashaal March initiated from sec-18/7 roundabout which headed towards Sukhna Lake. These different organisations extended their whole hearted support to Anna’s fast and created awareness in the Chandigarh about the same. Gaurav Goel and Ashutosh Gupta, active members of Aawaaz told that these activities will strengthen the fight against corruption and we will fight for justice. The govt wrongful policies have numbered days and time has come to see an enlightened India as every common man has become aware of its rights and is up to fight for the same.
Kuldeep Mussa and Anil Azad , who actively lend their support in the cause said entire country is awake and now govt has to bestow before the people and implement Jan lokpal Bill. It will be an effective tool to curb corruption and bring culprits to justice. Govt unwillingness to implement Janlokpal bill clearly indicates its wrong intentions and Anna’s arrest have further added fuel to fire and forced people to take to streets.
