25 July,Chandigarh :The CampusFrance desk at the Alliance Française organized a Pre-departure Orientation Program on Friday, 25 July 2008, for the students enrolled for the new academic session in France. The session started with the presentation in which students were given information on how and what to prepare prior to their departure and also after their arrival in France. The students were as well acquainted with the legalities and the way of living in France. Young achievers who have been to France for higher studies also shared their first-hand experience and answered the queries of the students going to France.
This time also more than 50 students from different streams have decided to choose France as their destination of higher studies. Most of the students who are going to France are beneficiaries of scholarships provided by French Government. Ankit Ahuja,Manmohan Singh, Tarun Kumar, Parul Goyal and Amit Pandita are all recipients of different scholarships of France from Chandigarh.
