Chandigarh March 5, 2014M: The senior leader and former chief of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Nitin Gadkari had a detailed discussion with party workers in a meeting held at Kamlam office, Sector 33 today. To prepare the workers for Lok Sabha Elections 2014, Gadkari provided a clear vision of the party and gave proper guidance on how to carry forward the ideologies among masses.
While addressing the party workers, Nitin Gadkari said, “India is a rich country with poor population and only Congress is responsible for it. The common man is suffering because of Congress government’s wrong economic policies, poor governance, and visionless headship. Despite ruling the country for almost 58 years, the congress government failed to take any decision for the welfare of the nation. Now it is BJP’s responsibility to bring good governance in the country and our party is the only viable alternative for the country”.
Talking about the BJP’s vision document, he added, “Our party is cherishing the dream to make India a superpower in the world. We will introduce a complete transparent system and will adopt progressive economic policies. Special emphasis will be given to e-governance which can curb red tapism and license permit Raj will be finished. The black money issue will be resolved and inflation would be brought down. Other parties are accusing us of not being a secular party to grab the power but I would say that BJP is the only secular party which wants to develop every section of the society”.
Gadkari said that the election commission has announced the dates for Election and Chandigarh will have polling on April 10. He asked the party workers to reach house to house, man to man and heart to heart.
Supporting the vision of Gadkari, the BJP’s State President, Sanjay Tandon said, “It is clear that there is a strong anti congress sentiment among the voters. The whole nation is witnessing the wave of BJP’s prime ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi. The common man is getting connected with BJP and its ideologies. The party has set the target of securing 272+ seats in the LS elections which will be achieved only through hard work. BJP’s developmental campaigns should be carried successfully”.
“The teams have been formed at the booth level. Party workers have also been carrying out the door to door campaign ‘Ek Note, Kamal Par Vote. Besides, the Missed Call campaign has been registering support of common man in large numbers. Under this initiative a ten digit number 8528-8528-00 has been introduced where people can support Mission 272+”, Tandon informed.
