A seminar on ‘National Nursing Day: Closing the Gap- Evidence to Action’ was organized at Desh Bhagat Group of Institute, Chandigarh on Thursday. On this occasion Dr. Jogindravati Gupta from Sri Harkrishan College of Nursing, Sohana was the Chief Guest. She enlightened the audience that nursing is not a profession but it is a service. She further said that by considering the patient as our own, his health will improve soon and this will give him internal peace and happiness.
On this occasion, Dr. Zora Singh, Chairman and Mrs. Tajinder Kaur, Vice Chairperson of Desh Bhagat Group of Institutes welcomed the guests. He said that nursing is another name for service. After passing the course, the students not only get opportunity to serve humanity but they also get good jobs in India as well as in foreign countries.
Principal Kuldeep Longia & Principal Ramanadeep Kaur thanked the guests and told that the students of Desh Bhagat Institute of Nursing are bringing laurels to their institute by serving in national and international organizations. They said that their students are motivated to be always prepared for social service and play important role in saving the lives of the patients.
