Manoj Godara, Chandigarh, 12 August 2010: NSS Unit and Blood Donation Society of Post Graduation Government College (P.G.G.C), Sector 46 organized an interactive session with the students before the Semi-annual Blood Donation Camp to be held on Campus on 13th August 2010. Dr. G.C. Sethi welcomed the speaker of the day, Dr. Gagandeep Kaur, Assistant Professor, Govt Medical College and Hospital, Sector 32, She Delivered a motivational lecture to the students of P.G.G.C, Sector 46, on the Importance of Blood donation. She addressed the reservation of the students regarding the myths related with blood donation. Blood is a purely natural resource and cannot be generated by any artificial method. She pointed out its importance in the welfare of the society as a whole. The Seminar was presided over by Principal of the College, Dr. J.S.Raghu, NSS Programme officers and Staff members. Programme Officer Dr. Baljit Singh appealed to the Students to come forward and voluntarily donate blood. Dr. Surinder Kaur presented the vote of thanks on behalf of the college.
