The whole Audi was jam packed with the fans of Amarinder Gill, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Gugu Gill, Rana Ranbir and Deep Dhillon, as the viewers clapped and whistled on every scene when any one of these appeared on screen. The very enthusiasm of the audience proved the huge success of the film and showed that Manmohan Singh ji has once again proved his superiority in making a successful Punjabi film.
Harbhajan Mann also Graced the Occasion of Screening of the Premier of the film with his auspicious presence.
Manmohan Singh has always tried to convey a message to the audience in his all the previous films and once again has, very impact fully & authoritatively, conveyed another message to the community in this film too. The message was very clear and straight forward about the “Equality of Women” in this male dominated society of ours. On the other hand the professionalism and talent of the star cast has also added to the up liftment of the theme.
For the very first time Gurpreet Ghuggi was seen in a different role in this film. As in the previous films, Ghuggi acted as a comedian who either is a UK returned or an NRI who lives in UK or Canada. “This time Man ji saw a real actor in me and gave me a chance to prove my acting & theatrical skills by offering me an off beat role of “Lalli Baba” which some what is a serious cum comedy role” said Gurpreet Ghuggi. And he had lived upto the expectations of Manmohan Singh ji by doing justice to his role.
Also, the satire and spice of laughter was added with the very presence of Rana Ranbir who also has written the dialogues for this film. It is said that “Big Explosive comes in Small Packages” was very rightly proved by Five foot-ter Rana Ranbir, who tickled the bellies of the audience though-out the film with his timing & dialogue delivery.
The shooting began on 14th January in Amritsar and then moved on to be shot in Chandigarh, Panchkula and the other surrounding areas. Shooting of the film was successfully completed on 25th February 2010.
