ChandigarhMarch 25, 2014:To strengthen the bond with the residents of Chandigarh, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s MP candidate for Lok Sabha seat in the city, Kirron Kher interacted with people on the digital platform, Twitter.
After finishing the day-long campaigning in the various places of the city, Kirron Kher engaged with the audience on Twitter at late nighton Monday. The one-hour session which began at 9 pm yesterday was facilitated by the BJP’s Convener of IT Cell, Deepak Malhotra. During the session Co-Convener, IT Cell, Jaspreet Singh, Rohit Kumar and Rajiv were present. Besides they were accompanied by executive members Mohinder Nirala, Nagesh and Anand.
Sharing the information about the Twitter-session, Deepak Malhotra said, “The social media plays a vital role to spread the word, garner support from those people who cannot come to rallies. We will hold such interactive session on Twitter and other online platforms in the near future too”.
On Twitter, people asked many questions related to Chandigarh. They sought Kirron’s vision on various issues like infrastructure, metro service, fight against Corruption and Party’s poll strategies. In the presence of BJP’s senior leaders, Kirron assured people that every problem could be dealt with a proper mechanism. She opined that single-window complaint centre should be set up and Chandigarh’s every sector should be upgraded.
Kirron Kher thanked people on the social media to show their support for change.
