Chandigarh : ‘Khayal-e-Daman’, a book of Urdu poetry composed by Sr. Advocate Mr. DS Bali was unveiled in the auditorium of manav mangal SMART SCHOOL, Mohali by Honourable Mr. Justice Amit Rawal, Judge, Punjab and Haryana High Court. The book comprised of beautiful and thought-provoking verses of poetry in Urdu. The poet has for the sake of the convenience of the non-Urdu reading populace provided the translation of each and every verse. On this occasion, the students of manav mangal High School, Sector 21, Chandigarh presented Ganesh Vandna to invoke the blessings of the Vighnharta and mesmerized the audience with their energetic and enthusiastic dance movements. A beautifully choreographed performance ‘Betiyaan’, based on the right of women to live with dignity, presented by the students of manav mangal SMART SCHOOL, Mohali was appreciated greatly. The Chief Guest, Honourable Mr. Justice Amit Rawal shared that he too has been the student of manav mangal and he still cherished those days. He further added that he still held great belief in the values and ideals instilled in him during those days. He surprised the audience by reciting verse from ‘Khayal-e-Daman’ and displayed his creative flair. He congratulated the author Mr. DS Bali on his impressive work. He further commended the Director of manav mangal, Mr.SanjaySardana on manav mangal SMART SCHOOL Mohali having achieved the distinction of being ranked first amongst top schools in SAS Nagar, Mohali by Education World in the largest rating and ranking exercise so far.
