Chandigarh: In continuation to its ongoing ‘Janjagran Abhiyanj’ against corruption, price-hike, black money and mal-administration of Congress party, the local unit of Bharatiya Janata Party took out Janjagran Yatra in Sector 56 today.
Prominent party activists who were present include State BJP President Sh. Sanjay Tandon, Arun Sood, Ramvir Bhatti, District President Santosh Mishra, Mahila Morcha President Asha Jaswal, Ateet Kakkar, Ravikant Sharma, Munawar, Mandal President Desraj, Suresh Kumar, MD. Khan, Ramphal, Mandeep Singh, Satish Kumar, Suparna Sharma, Madan Sharma, Sonu, Sher Singh Guleria, Ghansham, Vijay Kumar, Lekhraj, Ram Janam Pandey, Stnarain, Sham Narayan, Karnail Kaur, Nirmala, Rajinder Kumar,Ramesh Sharma among others. BJP State President Sh. Sanjay Tandon said that the common man is suffering a lot under the present Congress led Central Government. The residents of the city particularly are harassed a lot by the Chandigarh Housing Board by unnecessarily issuing notices to those who have made need based changes in their houses but the local Member Parliament and Central Parliamentary Affairs Minister Sh. Pawan Kumar Bansal is not doing anything to sort out the problem of these poor people. He demanded that all the notices should be withdrawn and the policy of pick & choose be stopped.
Mr. Tandon further said that the whole nation is reeling under sky-rocketing prices, corruption and above all mad-administration of the Congress party and Congress will have to face the consequences.
