Sanjay Tandon said that the Member Parliament from Chandigarh and Central Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal is not doing anything for the development of villages. He has no time for the problems of villagers as he is busy in corrupt practices like Booth Allotment Scam etc. The villagers are demanding extension of Lal Dora since long but Mr. Pawan Kumar Bansal is not doing anything to solve their long pending and most genuine demand. The status of villages in U.T. is in danger as the Congress want to merge them in the Municipal Corporation which is against the wishes of the villagers and their elected representatives. Instead of maintaining and developing the villages of Chandigarh as modern villages and providing all the facilities to the villagers they are harassed and made to suffer a lot.
