Chandigarh, Feb 26 :Mr. Satya Pal Jain, the NDA candidate from Chandigarh parliamentary constituency said that the Bhartiya Janta Party, after coming to power at the Centre, would recognize the GPA as valid mode of transfer of property and wouldl issue instructions to the officers to transfer the full ownership rights to the purchasers on the basis of GPA, on symbolic charges.
He also said that the internal need – based changes, made by the residents in their houses would be regularized so that unnecessary harassment, being caused to the residents was put to rest for ever. He said this while addressing public gatherings, at Sector 44-C, Kajehri & Sector 47-D markets here.
Mr Jain criticized the Congress Party for harassing the common public by issuing threatening notices and indulging in needless demolition drives during to last five years rule. He accused that the Congress regime was planning to further hit the city residents by imposing heavy fee on those who have purchased houses and shops through GPA. Mr Jain promised that after coming to power the NDA would recognize the transfer of these properties on a nominal fee so that city residents can avail the benefits of their hard-earned ownership without any bureaucratic hurdles.

It is unfortunate that the government and administration, instead of helping people, is creating hurdles against these poor people who want to benefit from their life-savings. He alleged that, while the responsibility of the government was that of a facilitator, the present Congress regime haddone nothing but harassed the public.
