The India Post, Chandigarh,2nd March, 2009 :In an ongoing effort to promote Emerging Areas in Science and Technology, Panjab University is organizing two day International Conference on “MICROBIAL BIOTECHNOLOGY “MICROCON 2009” on 3rd and 4th March 2009 at English Auditorium, P.U. Campus.
Elaborating on the event, the Prof. Rupinder Tewari (President of the Conference) stated that keeping in mind the recent developments in this area a highly interactive and collaborative event is planned. Eminent Scientists, researchers and industrial experts, from India and abroad, will participate and deliberate on critical areas of the subject.
The Organizing Secretary of the Conference Dr. Rohit Sharma informed that the conference is going to be inaugurated by Dr. Rajesh Jain, Joint M.D. Panacea Biotec., New Delhi and Prof. R.C. Sobti, Vice Chancellor, Panjab University will preside on the inaugural function. Nearly 300 delegates from various parts of India and abroad are expected to participate in the two-day event.
