Chandigarh, January 3: Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) has decided to organize march to Chandigarh against the rampant corruption and anti people policies of the Haryana Government. INLD Secretary General & Rajya Sabha MP Ajay Singh Chautala will lead this one month long march from Rajasthan border village Rai Malikpur of Nangal Chaudhary assembly segment.
This 600 KM long march will cross about eleven districts and hundreds of villages in the state. The march has been named as ‘Jan Aakrosh Padyatra’.
This decision was taken by INLD Political Affairs Committee meeting at New Delhi on Saturday. INLD chief and former Haryana chief minister Chaudhary Om Parkash Chautala presided over the meeting. The meeting was attended by former Governor Sultan Singh, INLD MP Ajay Singh Chautala, INLD state president Ashok Arora, former finance minister Prof Sampat Singh, former MLA Abhey Singh Chautala, former minister Sardar Jaswinder Singh Sandhu, former state president Sher Singh Barshami, Jagdish Yadav, former VC Dr K. C. Bangar, Dr M.L. Ranga, former MP Kailasho Saini and other senior party functionaries.
‘Jan Aakrosh Padyatra’ will pass the districts of Mahndergarh, Bhiwani, Jhajjhar, Rohtak, Sonepat, Jind, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Yamunanagar, Ambala and Panchkula. INLD leaders will protest against the Hooda family sponsored corruption, nepotism, sale of government jobs, day to day deteriorating law & order situation, scarcity of water and electricity, SEZ scam, sad state of development in villages, atrocities on Backward and SC communities, treachery with the employees.
Other INLD leaders along with Ajay Singh Chautala will also participate in the march. Party leaders will walk about 20 Kilometer daily and address corner meetings. INLD leaders will stay in the villages during the ‘Jan Aakrosh Padyatra’. A high level party committee has been constituted to decide the detail programme of the march. Former Deputy Prime Minister Late Devi Lal had also organized such march earlier.
